Jewelry Designers: Taught in Spanish! Pre-K Dare to dazzle with handmade jewelry pieces! Daring Dazzlers is a jewelry-making class for beginners that encourages children to explore their creativity through an introduction to interesting colors, textures, and age-appropriate jewelry-making techniques. Our classes are designed not only to entertain, but to improve hand-eye coordination, small muscle development, and pattern-making skills. Boys and girls can learn the basics of beading. Students will be introduced to, and explore a wide variety of exercises that are challenging yet fun. The camp will consist of multiple stations where students engage in exploratory learning using weights, jump ropes, exercise balls, medicine balls, fitness bands, multiple I-pad fitness applications, kettle bells, speed ladders, and much more! Climbing Camp - Beginner - Breckenridge Recreation Center
Calling all climbing kids! Come out for an amazing week of climbing and having fun. Learn basic techniques in knots, belaying, and climbing movement. The final day of each camp is outdoors, climbing on real rock here in Summit County, returning to the Recreation Center by 1:00pm. No camp on Wednesdays. Four-day camps are offered in three sessions running June 6-August 5. If youve already attended a Beginner Climbing Camp, check out our Intermediate Climbing Camp to pick up where you left off last summer to keep the climbing going! Upon successful completion, climbers may move to our Intermediate Climbing Camp. Suggested personal equipment for outdoor climbing day: Comfortable shoes for approach, water bottle, snack, wind/rain jacket, extra layers, sunscreen/lip balm, hat and camera.
