Baby Sitting Camp $185.00 Rising 5th-7th June 13-17 8:30am-2:00pm Babysitting Camp - campers will complete the American Red Cross online course in babysitting, practice skills, create activities to do with children, develop a business plan and marketing for their services and BABYSIT during camp! We will get hopefully get to practice with actual children during our camp. The goal is to expose campers to children of differing ages, needs and personalities. Local camps, daycares, & summer venues that offer programs for infant-18 years old will be in attendance at this showcase. Businesses and non-profits that offer summer camps & classes in sports, dance, art, cooking, fitness & academics will be present. ADMISSION IS FREE (Donations to Make-A-Wish are encouraged and accepted.) Bring the kids and go table to table to find the camps and daycares that best fit your family's needs and interests. Carpentry (2 Weeks) - Junior Center of Art & Science
Students will learn to use a compliment of hand tools during a course that emphasizes safe tool use, practical problem-solving & creative development. The course is taught by a Master Carpenter with over 25 years of experience teaching children.Projects increase in dif- ficulty as experience grows, beginning with toy boats and working up to full-sized furniture and professional skateboards. **All first time carpentry students MUST attend the 1st day of class to participate in the course.** **Tuition includes a $25 Materials Fee** 510-839-5777

Students will be introduced to specific drawing fundamentals and techniques including line drawing, value, shape, pattern, texture, shading, perspective and composition. This class will introduce different perspectives inspired from nature, still-life, photographs and the students own imagination.
