Middle School White Water Rafting: U.S. National Whitewater Center, Charlotte - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
Adventure Rafting is designed for those wishing to experience the excitement of world-class whitewater. Rafters will take on Class II, III and IV rapids. Participants should be comfortable with getting wet with the potential of coming out of their boat. This is a one day trip to the U.S. Whitewater Center, Charlotte, NC. Included are high ropes courses and zip lines. At Mount Shepherd there will be additional aquatic activities, camping out, daily devotions and more! 336-629-4085

Saratoga Baseball Winter Clinic (Grades 3-5) - Saratoga Springs High School
The Camp is an opportunity to work on the fundamentals of the game both offensively and defensively. We will take time each day to work on hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching. The basics taught at this camp are universal to the success of any baseball player. 315-778-5050

Arts in the Park - Norwood Local Park
You will create lots of cool artwork inspired by the great outdoors in this beautiful setting. Artwork may include paper mache, mobiles, sculptures from natural and recycled materials, mosaics, painting in the style of famous artists, collage and lots more! Play lots of games, sports and explore the park. On Wed campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. Bring a bag lunch. There will be a $25 dollar material fee due the first day. Morning: Levers, Trebuchets & Catapults What happens when you combine levers and robotics? Medieval machines, catapults, trebuchets, draw bridges, hammers, clock and walking robots! Do you know the difference between a trebuchet and a catapult? Can you make a robotic clock? Here is your opportunity to learn about the different types of levers while building Lego robots. In Levers, Trebuchets & Catapults you will nail the competition while time and the ping pong balls of warfare fly as you break down enemy walls and minions. A little modern technology and Lego can defy the impossible. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Not Your Typical Cooking Camp - Havens Elementary School
Students will have an amazing week learning, creating, and consuming! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen!
