Art of Fashion - Valle Verde Elementary
Instructor: Pamela Howett () Room: D-5 Have a passion for fashion and want to learn how to draw beautiful fashion images? This is the class for you! Learn how to design a collection through fashion sketching, use of fabric swatches and collage. Then take your mini portfolio home to share your vision. British Soccer - Mini Soccer - Prairie Center Park
Locally owned, Challenger Sports runs the largest number of soccer camps in the United States. Challenger will coach over 80,000 players throughout the U.S each year. Olathe Parks & Recreation has teamed up to host the week long British Soccer Camp during the week of May 31-June 3 at Black Bob Park, June 27-30 at Prairie Center Park and then again July 25-29 at Black Bob Park. We have incredible coaches with neat accents who make learning fun! We recruit the best coaches in the business and we are about every child having a good day every day! The Challenger Way focuses on challenging players to improve with maximum participation, maximum touches on the ball and maximum fun. Simply put, no line drills, no long speeches and lots of encouragement. Each of our coaches hold a national coaching license from Great Britain and are trained specifically for the British Soccer Camp program. Act It Out! - Flower Valley Elementary School
Brought to you by the C.A.R.E. Actor (creative awareness responsive education) program, comes alive as we act out storybooks and make our own costumes and props using a variety of art materials! In his camp, students will experience how the theater arts and fine arts go hand in hand while discussing topics such as respect, kindness, and peace through storybooks. This class will have a final presentation on the last day of camp. Come join us this summer! KidSport After Camp Care Week of 8/1 - 8/5 - Scarlett Middle School
After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 8/1 - 8/5 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids!
