The Salvation Army is hosting a walkathon to raise funds to help send children to summer camp. We offer several camp sessions lasting from three to eight days for children of various ages. Your child will be supervised by caring on-site counselors.There are three types of camping experiences for children ranging in age from six to sixteen which include; residential camps, day camps and teen wilderness camps. Math Munch is for all little budding mathematicians! We immerse the children in rich and multi-sensory activities using manipulative and hands on activities to build your childs math skill set. Camp is offered in partnership with Lees SUP on the Gig Harbor waterfront. A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available.
