PeeWee golf camps are designed for younger junior golfers and can range from as young as 4 years old to beginning juniors up to age 7 (and sometimes even 8). Our PeeWee camps focus on an introduction to the game and the fundamentals (those first three letters, F-U-N, being very important), all in an atmosphere that fosters learning and sportsmanship. Camps will touch on all aspects of the game of golf and include full-swing, short-game, and putting as well as rules, etiquette, what to expect on the course. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills.
