It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Cost is $119 per month for children of Apogee members and $139 for children of non-Apogee members Class runs 330-430pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Interested? Overland Kids Halloween Party
Mark your calendars, put on your costume and join us for a fun spooky night with all your friends. We will have costume contests by age groups, pizza and a drink for the kids, scavenger hunt, games and prizes, and candy! This is a free, safe, indoor trick-or-treating event open to children ages 2 to 12 of Overland Residents, Overland Business Owners, and City of Overland Employees and their families. Parents are required to accompany their children for the entire duration of their stay. Registration will start on October 1st and will end on October 29, or until the maximum number has been registered. This event will be held on Friday October 30 in the gymnasium at the Overland Community Center from 6-8:15 pm, with check in time between 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. only. All participants must be in costume and donate at least one can food item to enter the event. Register on Oct. 1 and be one of the first 175 overland kids entered into this year’s extraordinary Kids Halloween Party.

In this introductory level, juniors learn swing fundamentals, safety, and basic fitness routines.
