Join us as we gently explore the trails of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in search of leaves, twigs, acorns, etc. so that we can create our own beautiful nature-inspired craft projects and works of art. Date: Thursday, August 18th 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Friday, August 19th 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Ages: 4 – 8 with an adult Instructors: Beth Sanders, Santino Lauricella NOTE: Choose ONE OF TWO sessions for this camp. Price includes $25 lab fee. Campers spend the week conducting more than 25 fascinating and fun chemistry experiments. Emphasis is on safety, chemistry history, proper use of chemistry lab equipment, and an introductory understanding of chemical symbols and reactions. This camp is a great way to prepare for high school and even college chemistry.
