All kids up to age 18 welcome, no charge for current EquQuest horsemanship students; $250 for new students Camp dates are March 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18; 10 AM to 1 PM each day. Kid's learn to catch their own horse, tack it up, do ground work and ride (as age and confidence level appropriate). Get's them outside in sunshine and fresh air, helps them develop compassion for animals and puts them in touch with nature. Bring sunscreen, water and a snack. I Troop Camping May 6, 7 & 8 - Sandy Ridge
Spend some time camping with your Girl Scout Troop at Sandy Ridge! Price includes accommodations at Sandy Ridge. Troop is responsible for food and programming during their stay. Troop leaders are required to have specific trainings to camp overnight with their Troop at Sandy Ridge. Please contact Michaela Watts at 843-552-9910 ext. 2390 or for more information on training. Troops must have approval by GSESC to overnight camp at Sandy Ridge. A Trip Approval Form must be submitted to your Regional Volunteer Services Specialist (VSS) at least three weeks prior to reservation date. Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp is an intensive one-week overnight program offered to girls ages 11-17 years old and is held at Ojai Valley Boarding School in Ojai, CA. Here girls of all skill levels have the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keys or other instruments. Girls will also form a band, write an original song, and perform at the Final Showcase for friends, families, and fans!
