Riverwalkers - Bluff Lake Nature Center
River Walkers will explore the waterfalls, creek beds, and shaded pools of the Sand Creek to investigate how all of life needs and uses water. Campers will discover how the birds, mammals, bugs, and crawfish of Bluff Lake interact with its water sources through hands-on activities, animal encounters, and expert presentations. Campers will have the chance to measure, draw, observe, and play with water as they perform water quality testing, sail boats and build their own dams. Prepare to get wet, meet some aquatic creatures, and have a blast! All campers will learn from science experts, play learning games, make projects, meet new friends, cool off in Sand Creek and have supervised exploration time. Fashion: Design & Sew! [C] [Spring Break] - Coyote Central
Think fashionably as you choose styles, fabrics and a series of decorative techniques to make your own wearable gear & clothes. Working with a professional fashion designer who knows the business, youll learn the basics of design, pattern construction, hand and machine sewing, and surface treatment. Lil Lambs Camp - Camp of the Good Shepherd
Lil Lambs camp is a great opportunity for Pre-K through Kindergarten kids to experience Camp of the Good Shepherd for the first time. Age-appropriate Bible lessons, songs, games, and crafts are just a few of the things that children will enjoy on their first visit to camp. Parents are welcome to stay for the day or may chose to drop their child off with our fantastic camp staff. The ASTA/NJ Chamber Music Institute at Rutgers University Neil L. Aaronson and Margaret Zufall-Roberts, directors Session I: July 24-29, 2016 Session II: July 31 – August 5, 2016 Ages 12 to 23| commuter and residential options available | performance sample video required for placement purposes only Now in its 12th year, the American String Teachers Association of New Jersey (ASTA/NJ) Chamber Music Institute provides participants with the opportunity to perform in small ensembles under the guidance of top teaching artists. Students participate in daily rehearsals, master classes, elective courses, special presentations, and a variety of social activities. Each session features a concert and master class with a professional visiting artist ensemble and concludes with a performance featuring student ensembles. ASTA/NJ CMI is open for participation to students playing to string instruments, woodwinds, classical guitar and piano.
