Cross Street Youth Camp 2016 - Brooksville, FL
The dates for this years camp are July 25 to 29 at Lakewood Retreat Center. It is going to be awesome in every way, especially if you come! Lots of great things to do at camp including some of the things that make every camp great! Things like: Great worship times, Bible teaching, campfires, hayrides, and all kinds of sports. Plus swimming, archery, crafts, human foosball and more! This years theme is RUN THE RACE and we are going to have some new things plus all the other great things we normally do at Cross Street Youth Camp! Come ready to grow closer to God! Come ready be encouraged, challenged and changed! Come ready to have great times with your old friends and new friends! * The cost of this years camp is $205. Clarendon Spring 2016 - Clarendon Elementary
SPRING 2016: SURVIVOR FROG! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! There are no breaks during this session. Composing for Video Games - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Take your creativity to the next level and learn to compose music that enhances your video gaming experience. Even if youve never tried composing before you can learn to manipulate sounds to make the action on your screen come alive. Students will use Propellerheads Reason/Record software in our portable music technology lab to compose music for existing video games as well as create music for their own game concepts and scenes. Any student currently enrolled in band, orchestra or choir is welcome to join this camp, even if you havent had any composing experience. Family and friends are invited to attend a multi-media performance on the last day of camp. Register for either the morning or the afternoon session the week of June 27-July 1. This is a hip-hop and breaking camp. Students will move and groove to funky beats and create a music video to share with friends and family.
