Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. 23rd Annual Teen World Bible Camp - Clinton, PA
Teen World MInistries will be holding its 23rd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 5-11, 2016 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. Our camp theme for the week is "Jesus Christ: Born, Crucified, Risen!" with Luke 24:45-47 being our theme verses. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Luke (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 2:1-38, 23:26-56, and 24:1-53.. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 4-12 in the 2016-2017 school year and 2016 high school graduates. Registration Fee for camp is $150 . Early Bird Registration Fee is only $140 if deposit form is received or postmarked by April 18th. There is a $10 per camper Family Discount for siblings attending camp as campers. Ceramics 3 - RAKU! Ceramic Intensive - Artists Exchange
For two weeks, your child will be immersed in the world of clay. Campers will learn everything from prehistoric clay working methods, to the modern work of artistic ceramics, and everything in between. The first week is devoted to developing skills using the pottery wheel, sculpting by hand, as well as learning technical aspects of clay including where it comes from, how its used, how its recycled and turned into a finished piece. During the second week, campers will explore different glazing and firing processes including everything that goes into building, loading and firing a traditional Japanese Raku kiln. Safety precautions will be set in place so campers can have a blazingly amazing time! *This is a 9 day camp. Artists Exchange is closed Monday in observance of Independence Day. 401-490-9475

Story telling was never this much fun! Utilizing the LEGO® StoryStarter set we will introduce students to the basic structures of a well-composed story (making this class a great language arts tool). At the same time we will also introduce them to the world of technology as we show them how to animate their stories in their very own graphic storybook. They will build their LEGO® story scenes and (using photo capture and editing tools) bring the story to life in print. We will create multiple storybooks in this class and each student will receive a DVD containing printable versions of all their creations to take home. In StoryStarter II we will have the same great fun but with all new story types and plots! We will delve further in the story telling process by emphasizing character development and 5 step story telling. You do NOT have to take the first class in order to take II. 770-826-0449
