Week 2 Day Camper - Rose Lake Youth Camp
Our always popular Day Camp is a favorite for many children ages 4-13. This session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Wednesday through Friday. The cost includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. This is a great introduction to camp life and activities and focuses on the all-time favorite camp activities of swimming, archery, hiking, songs, kayaking, gaga pit, bouldering wall, crafts, and games. Depending on the age and abilities of our youngest day campers, some activities may be adjusted or modified to be age appropriate. Day Camp has an optional Thursday overnight, allowing children to get a taste of resident camp. The Thursday Overnight includes dinner and an evening snack. Children will enjoy campfires and special events and games not offered during the normal Day Camp day. If you would like your child to participate, please indicate this option on the camp registration and there is no additional fee for the Thursday Overnight program. The minimum age for the overnight is 7 years of age. In addition, for an additional $15 families who need extended Day Camp care can sign children up for this option which runs 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Extended care includes breakfast. 231 768 4351
Nature Detectives - Maple Hill Farm
Requirement: Children must be four years old at the start of class, able to separate from his/her parent, and be completely toilet trained. Start the week off with a Five Senses Adventure Hike. Students will learn to sharpen their observation skills while hiking Beaver Brooks trails. Meet some of our resident wildlife and learn interesting facts. Make your own detective kit, keep a nature journal, play games and learn wonderful new nature songs. Hands-on activities, artistic exploration, investigative hikes, games and songs designed to introduce natures beautiful gifts to young explorers. The camper-detectives will conduct many hands-on forensic science tests on evidence found at a "crime scene." Fee includes most trips and program offerings. Registration for NEW Campers that are CITY OF CONCORD RESIDENTS , (residing in city limits of Concord) will begin on Wed 1/20/16 thru Midnight 1/24/16 by ONLINE and from 8:00am-5:00pm by WALK-IN until 1/22/16. Registration opens to the Public Wed 2/3/16 at 8:00am by both online and walk-in registration. Customer service may not be available after 5:00 p.m. $100.00 deposit is due at registration with balance due by June 3. No refunds after 6/3/16. Any past due balances must be paid prior to or at time of registration. Fees include most trips and program offerings. Girls Outdoor Adventure Sampler - Positive Energy Outdoors
Looking for an all-girls outdoor adventure this summer? The Positive Energy Girls Outdoor Adventure Sampler creates a unique opportunity for girls to have fun developing skills in a variety of outdoor pursuits. Our focus is on supporting girls to develop positive images of themselves, their abilities, and their connection to the outdoor world. Camp activities will include rock climbing, watersports (kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming), working with our draft horse team, hiking, cooking in a solar oven and meeting Positive Energys kennel of sled dogs.
