Best Summer Ever
Our son just got back from the YMCA Camp and he can't stop talking about all the fun. We knew he was having a good time based on the photos he sent us but to see his face light up when he is retelling the stories is priceless. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the surf lessons, the horseback riding and the campfires for months to come! The 16:15 Youth Basketball Camp @ Trinity Church is BACK! Entering into the 4th year, with over 150 campers last year, we expect it to get huge this year!! Here are the dates and details. How Much? FREE When is it? June 20-23, 6-8 p.m. each evening Where is it? Trinity Church (outdoors venues) 415 N. Mill St, Stanton MI 48888 What is the camp about? The camp is a faith based camp teaching campers basketball skills and about Jesus Christ. This year's theme is "GOD's TEAM". What does each night look like? Whether it's one day or a whole week, Camp Pump It Up is where it's at! Discover, explore, invent, and imagine! These themed camps are high-energy, fast-paced and just plain fun for kids. Kid's will spend part of the day playing on our gigantic inflatables and party of the day making new friends during interactive play, crafts, and hands-on activities. AccelerateKIDs Coding Jr. Camp introduces campers to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers will learn the basic principles behind computer programming. Over the course of the week students will program four games - Cat & Mouse, a maze game and more. Each programming lesson builds upon itself and reinforces the basic concepts learned in camp. Using their knowledge learned over the course, campers will choose one of their games to edit and present on the final day of camp. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt.
