1st Session - Yoga For Kids - YSCP
Marlena Vendemia - Bio Marlena Vendemia worked in the corporate fitness setting before earning her M.S. in Exercise Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University. She currently holds a position as a Penn State fitness instructor working with pregnant women as part of the Healthy Moms Research Study. Most recently, Marlena earned her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification. She found her yoga practice as a stay at home mother to her two small children. Marlena was drawn to pursue this certification due to the benefits she found through her own yoga practice. Her yoga practice has allowed her to find space, connection and possibility through the physical experience, things she hopes to help other students find as well. Her goal is to bring classes filled with truth, authenticity, love and fun to the State College community. In addition to teaching yoga at The PYP Studio, State College, Marlena also serves on the school board for Our Lady of Victory Preschool and on the advisory board for Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, University Park Campus. Every caricaturist has a different style. In this class, well work together to develop your style. Utilizing face study, and sketching techniques, youll have the skills to draw caricatures on a whim. Extra Pointers Football Camp Combo. (Grades 6-12) - WWP High School North
Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp Combo. (Grades 6 - 12) Camp is two sessions (June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4) combined for one low price of $348.00! The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: Camp is only open to children entering grades 6-12. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from program and no refund. No residency restrictions. Through group dynamics, imaginative prompts and role-playing exercises, students learn the basic elements of story creation and put their inspirations on paper. Children gain confidence in a fun, non-judgmental environment where everyone supports each others ideas. Home writing is suggested but not required.
