Tumbling for Tots Add-On - Lower School
Boys and girls ages 3 to 5 get to improve their tumbling skills through a variety of exercises that develop strength and coordination. Lego Robotics - Wow Science - Voorhees
Command your own Lego-powered robot. From Lego StoryStarter to Simple Machines, EV3 Mindstorms and Tetrix, campers will have an opportunity to bring their imaginations to life through many fun projects and experiments. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. Fiddling Fun and Jazzy Jammin - SCDS
Fiddling Fun and Jazzy Jammin Both fiddling and jazz styles enhance the musical development of any string player within a motivating context. Fiddlin Fun will boost your musical confidence and performance skills through a journey into an alternative performance style, through Celtic and American Fiddle Tunes. In Jazzy Jammin you will learn cool jazz rhythms, bowings, swing and be­bop style, syncopation and different scales.Open to violin, viola, cello and stringed bass. Taught by Dr. Melinda Rubin. Please register by May 10, 2016 On June 17th, at the last class, parents are welcome to celebrate in the students accomplishments. Requirements: Students must have completed at least 2 years of study on their instrument and be competent in note­reading so they can fully enjoy the class experience. Titus Strength Training Boys/Girls - Sanford Day Camp
Titus Speed-Strength training system and programming focuses on increasing an athletes total body explosiveness, ability to run faster, jump higher, throw further, increase change of direction efficiency and improve speed endurance. The camp will focus on mobility/flexibility, agility, balance, reaction speed and coordination for young athletes. Most exercises use the athletes own body weight or light resistance. Resistance training exercises are safe and fundamental in nature and focus on maintaining posture and positioning throughout the full range of motion. This is a great program for building any young athletes fitness and training base. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. Campers will be transported to the Titus™ Center. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp.
