Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual Middle School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: 1. To build strong student-leader relationships 2.To build strong peer relationships 3.To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. To secure your free Winter Camp 2016 t-shirt, get your registration and $25 non-refundable deposit by Sunday, January 17th! It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. 2016 Fredericksburg Fishing Camp - Virginia Outdoor Center
Our Fredericksburg Adventure day camp for 7-14 year old runs Mon-Fri from 8:30 to 4:30. We have designed the camp to teach the entire process of fishing from rigging rods, tying knots, canoeing, baiting hooks, all while introducing campers to the great wealth of fishing opportunities the area has to offer from area ponds and lakes to the Rapidan and Rappahannock Rivers. 804-272-6362
Snow Camp - Stevens Pass, WA
Join us for Spring Break this year. Last year this trip cancelled do to no snow, we have no excuse this year not to get out and explore in the snow!!!! We will stay at a cabin near Stevens Pass, WA. During the day we will fill our time with snow related activities including: Snow Shoeing, XC Skiing, Sledding, Basic Mountaineering skills and Snow Play. Additional skills taught include the "rules of the road", how to fall properly, and various tricks. To enroll in the advanced camp, children must have previously taken one of Skate Journeys beginning camps. Skate Journeys provides the proper sized SEBA skates for each child plus all the protective gear (except for helmets). Please provide your child with a helmet.
