Turn your words, drawings and images into posters and T-shirts and discover the vast potential for future designs in this hands-on screen printing class. Using stencils, water-based inks and multiple screens, students will construct bold, graphic images. Basic design/composition, stencil cutting and multiple-color registration will be explored as students master basic screen printing processes. 970.728.3886
Minecraft Modding! Camp @ SMCC - San Marcos Community Center
Why just *play* Minecraft when you can *create* Minecraft? In this camp designed for quick learners or those with block-based coding experience, campers will learn how to code in Java by making a mod for Minecraft! This is professional, text-based coding. Create and then craft a sword out of mushy bananas, or spawn a flying golden cow! Make the full transition from player to content creator! Age Range: 8 to 12 Description: All Clay, all the time! In this class, students will learn the art of ceramics by building, sculpting, and creating on the pottery wheel. We will experiment with various tools and glazes as students express themselves through creativity and color in this fun and functional 3D art form. Active Learning Services provides students with the opportunity and skills to create something similar to a Mario Go-Kart style game. What fun! Campers design their own world, then place characters into the world and program the characters to move and interact with other characters. Children will use their creativity as they build a world full of racing tasks. Two Week Fandom - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Fandom and Demigod Institute are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered.
