CAP Kid Camp Malibu - Calabasas, CA
We will stay at Gilmore Camp, in Malibu Creek State Park. This camp is a part of the Salvation's Army Mt. Crags & Gilmore Camp & Conference Center in Calabasas http://campmtcrags.com. Located in the heart of Malibu Canyon, this camp provides life changing experiences with various activities on site in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. We are of course also just a short car ride away from the world famous Malibu beaches! We are 1 hr North of LAX, 2.5hr from San Diego, 5.5 hr drive from SF or Sacramento and 7.5 hrs from Reno. Culinary Camp 7/18 - 7/22 - Rockridge BART - (base of the escalators)
This is our Culinary Camp week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips to learn how to cook. Each day we will head to a different kitchen around the Bay Area and learn from a different about daily cooking themes. As always we will experience this while using public transportation to navigate our way. ***Note****: Due to the locations and the variety of different chefs we are working with on this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. At this time we advise all children with food allergies that this is not the best choice for you. If you do have specific or rare food allergies please feel free to inquire with us and we will check the ingredients. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. You may add this late pick-up option to your campers Day Camp registration for an additional $15. This is only available Monday-Wednesday since Thursday is our overnight, and Friday has our parent program at 1:00.
