Teachers: Ansley Young and Pam Peters lead young artists in creating a fully functional four legged creature marionette from wood, paint, rope and more. After reading and researching myths and fairy tales, kids use their findings to construct a magical being and develop a story to tell. The story will be told in a 10-15 minute performance at the end of the week. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start. Teen Photo Camp! - Forest, VA
This camp is designed for Teens ages 13-18. We will learn about Exposure, Composition, Lighting, Technique, Location Scouting and Photograph critiquing. The camp will meet from 9-12 each morning and the locations will only be announced to participants. Cost is $125. For more information call the store at 434-385-8110

Youth Ski Trip - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 10th to Sunday February 12th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board (they will be posted in January 2017). Make sure to come to the Parent & Youth meeting on February 5th before church at 8:30am to go over payments, fill out paperwork and go over the schedule for the Youth Ski Trip. Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $20.00 each (they are really $30.00 each, but Northside picks up the other $10.00 per lesson or/and rental for each person). Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 5th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones. If you are unable to go to the Fundraiser, you will need to pay an additional $25.00.

Want to find out if a career in aviation or the Air Force Academy is for you? Apply for the Teen Aviation Camp today! Camp is held June 18-24 in Colorado Springs, CO at the USAF Academy. Interested teens, ages 13-18, must apply by Apr. 18. Applicants are required to complete an electronic registration form, and email the forms to SAFB Youth Programs, [email protected]. *NOTE: Only applications in their original format with digital signatures will be accepted. Teens may apply for both Aviation Camp and Space Camp, but must label their preferred camp. Download the application form at www.375fss.com. Summer Camp @ La Pintoresca Group A (6-7) - La Pintoresca Park
Neighborhood Park Camp at La Pintoresca Park is a traditional, high-quality camp that is fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the library, enrichment activities and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual ?War Games? in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion.
