This camp session (for students entering grades 6-12) will be staffed by the Temple football coaches as well as current Temple football players. The passion our coaches have for the game will be seen in how they coach your child, using the same intensity and detail they use with our players. Proper technique and safety will be taught to each player attending the camp. The opportunity to work with our players and coaches will give you the best value and experience of any camp you attend! Life Teen Fall Retreat
Fall retreat is on the way, print out the form, please don't delay! The form and check is all you need, to guarantee your spot - indeed! We'll talk and have fun, it'll be cool, it's for anyone and everyone in high school! Here are more details, but they don't rhyme. This whole Seussing thing takes too much time! Our retreats begin Friday night and end Sunday early afternoon. At a retreat you can expect a weekend away full of building community, growing in our faith together. The Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts & Kids Camps - Readfield,
Four years ago Charles L. Day and Dale Potter-Clark began the process of gathering information for "Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts..." right here at a Maranacook Community Education class. Fifty or more enthusiastic people gathered that evening to share stories and to learn about the resorts, hotels and kids’ camps that have existed in this immediate area. After years of conducting personal interviews, making site visits and doing exhaustive research Charles and Dale have published a 356 page book packed with 220+ vintage photos and information about more than forty establishments that have existed on the four lakes. Thrown in for good measure is “The Larches” on “Lake Myra” in Readfield. Included is the history of the railroad, steamboats and the trolley in this area as well as the various establishments, founders and directors. Dale will first talk about the process and some discoveries made while researching and writing the book and following this she will do a reading. She will be available to sell and sign books after the presentation. Potter-Clark will be offering three classes the spring of 2017 (Mar, Apr, May) at $12.50 each or $30 for all three. Proceeds will help fund a "Museum in the Streets" in Readfield.

Send a Deweyville Pre-Teen to camp - Odessa, TX
Butch's Sunday School Class is collecting spare change to send a pre-teen from First Baptist Church of Deweyville, TX (a suburb of Houston) that was devestated by the flooding last week to Highland Lakes Camp this summer. Normally the church raises funds by having fundraisers but as you can see...they will have to devote all their time to restoring the church. Chapel Hill's youth have attended this camp several times in the past with great spiritual success.

Golf Academy Week 6 (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 3 PM) - Lindero Country Club
The Golf Academy with PGA instruction has been designed for serious golfers with some prior knowledge and exposure to the game. Academy golfers are required to know the game of golf, golf rules and etiquette and preferably provide their own equipment.
