Team Prep USA - Team Prep USA
Team Prep USA will host their 9th annual Rocky Mountain Cross Country Camp in Crested Butte/Gunnison, Colorado. Camp will be held at the Western State College in Gunnison Colorado, home of the Division II perennial powerhouse Mountaineers distance programs and just 30 minutes south of Team Prep USAs headquarters and training center. Attendees of camp will have the opportunity to train at elevations ranging from 7,700 ft. to 10,500 ft. of the Colorado Rocky Elk Mountain Range. The Gunnison Valley of Colorado has become a Mecca, according to Nike for athletes of all kinds to train. Arroyo Seco Camp Group B 3rd week Jun 27 - Jul 1 - City of Pasadena
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.The Arroyo Seco Adventure Camp offers opportunities to learn about our local, natural resources in a fun and exciting way. Now in its third year, this innovative camp pairs environmental education with traditional camp activities. Based in Brookside Park with regular activities in the lower Arroyo, this is an outdoor camp. The first week of camp focuses on origins of the Arroyo Seco and the geological events that created this amazing space. Other weeks focus on plants of the Arroyo, local animals and myths, protecting and exploring nature and survival skills. Conservation specialisits lead daily nature walks and instruct on conservation of environmental resources, native plants and local wildlife. Other activities include casting pond fly-fishing, archery, horseback riding, hiking, environmental education lessons, swimming, art and group games. Campers go on a weekly environmental themed field trip. In previous years, trips included kayaking, nature centers and local farms. Staff ratio is 1 to 10. Wet & Wild Summer Games - Old Trail School
Campers will have fun playing indoor and outdoor games including: sack races, limbo, water balloons, parachute play and more. Campers should bring towels and swimsuits daily for wacky water games and swimming in the Old Trail School pool. We will round off the week with a bowling party, ice cream sundaes and snow cones. Summer Day Camp 4: Kid vs. Wild - Rotary Park
Could you survive in the wild? Kid vs. Wild week will feature challenges and adventures that test your skills in shelter building, fire making, navigation and more. *prorated 4-day week (no camp Monday, July 4) Campers will recieve a summer camp T-shirt. Camp Caterpillar - Stephen C. West Ice Arena
Come let your little caterpillar blossom into a butterfly as they learn about nature, animals, and the environment! Each day campers study nature, play in nature and create natural crafts. This program utilizes the discovery method encouraging children to think on their own and discover by experimentation verses explanation. A snack is provided each day. Summer preschool camps are at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena this year! Make it a full-day, full-week camp!
