Number Sense - Office of Children, Youth & Learning
Children learn math concepts through games, songs, learning centers, whole group activities and everyday math related experiences and problem solving. Children develop number recognition, counting skills and learn to use numbers and language to compare quantities and solve problems. Sorting, patterning, measurement, graphing, shapes and number formation are included in the number sense curriculum. Stars & Stripes Track Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, coached by Olympic and elite athletes. Our day clinic is open to ages 6-18 with any level of track and field experience. We provide world-class instruction in training, technique, nutrition, plyometrics and competition strategies. Our junior camp (ages 6-12) teaches campers about each track and field event and gives each camper an opportunity to grow as an athlete. Summer Program 2016 Castle Creek Elem. - Castle Creek Elementary
Our unique summer program is designed for incoming 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. We have now added K, and 1st. We provide a fun-filled environment where students can learn the various skills needed to be successful in school and in life. Parents choose two classes for their students to be enrolled in. Classes are Monday-Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Castle Creek.
