Titus Ladies and Teen Girls Retreat - Lowville, NY
Margy Harryman, who will be speaking to mothers and wives, and Molly Sparling, who will be speaking with teen girls ages 13-18, will be sharing a shortened version of their Titus Bible Studies based on Titus 2:3-5. Ladies and girls will be meeting separately, but we will all enjoy our meals and breaks together. Retreat will cover one night lodging, Saturday breakfast and lunch and speakers expenses. Fall Teen Adventure Weekend - West Branch, MI
Canoe trip on the Au Sable River with overnight lodging at YMCA Camp Timbers. Co-ed, ages 13-17. Join YMCA Camp Timbers staff for a TEEN ADVENTURE WEEKEND canoeing the Au Sable River! The weekend begins with a Friday night stay at Camp Timbers before launching on the Au Sable River Saturday morning. After spending Saturday canoeing the river, participants return to Camp Timbers in the evening to enjoy S’mores around a campfire. The weekend ends with debriefing, unpacking, and a sampling of adventure activities at camp on Sunday. Cost is $75 for Y members and $90 for non-members and includes: meals, lodging, use of canoeing gear, transportation between Camp Timbers and the Au Sable River, and programming. Amazing Athletes Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
Sports instruction designed for preschool children to keep young athletes focused, active and having fun. They may explore soccer, basketball, football, T-ball, tennis and golf. Using special kid-friendly terms, your child will learn proper techniques for each sport, fundamentals of scoring, rules and terminology. Class includes proper warm-up, cardio exercise, muscle toning, hand-eye coordination drills, and speed and agility exercises. Children will have fun with a sports craft. Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters.
