Team members (ages 6-9), and our Counselors-in-Training (ages 10-13) will join forces to solve mysteries, visit the Louvre, take on the Big Apple, and visit the Texas Zoo. Families can register their campers for just one adventure or they can take on the full S.T.E.A.M. Team challenge by signing up for all 4 camps, giving them the title of Jr. CDM Ambassador (ages 3-9) or CDM Ambassador (ages 10-13). CDM Ambassadors will receive a “sneak peek” of the museum prior to its grand opening this fall, and while visiting, they will have the opportunity to share their genius ideas with museum staff and volunteers! Ages 5 to 7 A light-hearted approach to learning stagecraft. Campers will dance, sing, play games and perform a short play on Friday afternoon (title to be announced). This week-long camp will be filled with physical and mental challenges like relay races and problem solving trivia. Arts and crafts activities will also help stimulate the mind using elements of nature from our very own setting at Brookwood. There will be plenty of team-building exercises, including research on helpful and harmful plants and wildlife found in nature.
