Shooting & Finishing (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their performance on the attack by becoming the ultimate threat in the offensive third: The goal scorer. Players will learn proper mechanics and techniques of shooting and finishing in various game-like scenarios. After completion of the Shooting & Finishing camp, we recommend progressing to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training course. Beyond Your Best Books - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
This session will allow kids to convert their favorite stories into keepsake crafts using the process of upcycling. This experience will teach the importance of repurposing through creativity while encouraging conversations about the value and importance of literature in our lives. Participants will create several items from old books chosen for this purpose. While creating these items, we will discuss their favorite stories, the most fascinating characters, and why books and upcycling are important. *Participants will need to bring 3 hardback books of their choice; books that are in disrepair or those which would otherwise be recycled are recommended. Favorite childrens books are especially useful. Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. She is the subject area librarian for Brebeufs Religious Studies and Science departments. She is a former Girl Scout leader; enjoys books, cooking, baking; and loves all things outdoors. All-Terrain Robot Mechanic - Pinecrest Academy
COURSE Campers will learn about the science of robotics with historical information, discoveries, and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! 404-932-2552

Badgerdog Book Crush - O. Henry Museum
A summer program offered in partnership with the O. Henry Museum... We invite young readers to explore a fantastic novel, take it apart, play around in its pages, admire its sentences and characters and questions, and create new work based on the novel. This workshop is led by a Badgerdog teaching artist (professional writer), and Book Crushers will showcase their work for parents on the final day. In previous years we crushed on Wonder by R.J.
