Amplify Sleep Away Camp Session 1 - Ojai Valley High School
WHAT IS Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp? Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp is an intensive one-week overnight program offered to girls ages 10-17 years old and is held at Ojai Valley Boarding School in Ojai, CA. Here girls of all skill levels have the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keys or other instruments. Girls will also form a band, write an original song, and perform at the Final Showcase for friends, families, and fans! In addition to all this, girls will have the opportunity to meet other girls and female musicians and mentors, as well as participate in enrichment activities such as workshops on media literacy or screen-printing, high ropes course, Dj-skills, Zine making and more. GRSB! welcomes campers that identify as female, trans, and gender-nonconforming. LESSONS Participants choose one instrument to focus on for the week–drums, bass, guitar, vocals, keyboards, or DJ. All instruction takes place in small group lessons and is led by experienced and enthusiastic female musicians. BAND PRACTICE The bands have band practice every day. SAA Cheer Stars - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
Dance, tumble & cheer your way into the school year! This is an introduction to basics class developed to strengthen skills for aspiring cheerleaders, dancers, and gymnasts. Each class will cover tumbling skills, build proper jump shapes, and strengthen core & leg muscles. Students will be introduced to turning and leaping, and mini trampoline fundamentals. Cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and handsprings are all basics to which dancers, cheerleaders, and gymnasts aspire. Dance basics will be introduced as girls learn to turn and leap with proper technique. Participation awards will be given to everyone on our show off day May 18th, the last 30 minutes of class. Robotics Day Ages 6 - 9 - Bricks
Who wouldnt want to play with robots all day? We will work in teams to invent awesome contraptions to preform creative tasks and challenges. Campers will also enjoy playing robotics related activity games that encourage problem solving and critical thinking. Of course, no robot day is complete without a battle or two. Pre-K Parent Volunteer Kiddos - Camp Kirby
This cabin group is for children 3-5 years old whose parents are volunteering at Day Camp for the week. This will be a more laid-back approach to Camp, to introduce these Campers to the magic of Camp Kirby.
