1st Session - Yoga For Kids - YSCP
Marlena Vendemia - Bio Marlena Vendemia worked in the corporate fitness setting before earning her M.S. in Exercise Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University. She currently holds a position as a Penn State fitness instructor working with pregnant women as part of the Healthy Moms Research Study. Most recently, Marlena earned her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification. She found her yoga practice as a stay at home mother to her two small children. Marlena was drawn to pursue this certification due to the benefits she found through her own yoga practice. Her yoga practice has allowed her to find space, connection and possibility through the physical experience, things she hopes to help other students find as well. Her goal is to bring classes filled with truth, authenticity, love and fun to the State College community. In addition to teaching yoga at The PYP Studio, State College, Marlena also serves on the school board for Our Lady of Victory Preschool and on the advisory board for Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, University Park Campus. Transition to 7th Grade-PM Session - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
For rising 7th grade SAA-SDS students only The transition from 6th to 7th grade demands a student be responsible, accountable, independent, and organized. With this session, the student will gain insight of what to expect as he/she moves into Junior High at SAA-SDS. Knowledge of navigating through Haiku, as well as understanding the expectations of each 7th grade teacher, will be presented during this session. Make the transition into Junior High a smooth one by taking advantage of this informative session. Mommy & Me - Juniper Jungle Farm
Join us at Juniper Jungle Farm as we explore, learn, play, and spend time with friends!Mommy & Me classes incorporate art, storytelling, animal demonstrations, games, movement, music, and literature into an enjoyable class for both children and adults! At Juniper Jungle Farm there are chickens, turkeys, a pond, a tipi, greenhouses, compost piles, a stream, and many other exciting places to visit. The class is for children accompanied by an adult (dads welcome!) We hope you are as excited as we are to make nature come alive in this interactive and fun class series! April 25th: Nature Art! LCL Player Registration (please select school in session options) - Evergreen Sportsplex
Loudoun County League serves to provide a school affiliated opportunity for high school players in Loudoun County. You can also register for the Spring Clinics. Practices are on either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights with games on Saturdays. The clinics are held on Tuesday nights. 717-877-7351

Outdoor Venture Camp - Aug 1-5 - Norwich Venture Center
(11-13) Explore the outdoors through hands on nature activities and fun filled outdoor recreation. Your childs week will be split between nature activities like wilderness survival classes, orienteering, GPS skills, and other nature lessons AND outdoor recreation like hiking, caving, water sports (canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding) and indoor rock climbing.
