Carpentry (2 Weeks) - Junior Center of Art & Science
Students will learn to use a compliment of hand tools during a course that emphasizes safe tool use, practical problem-solving & creative development. The course is taught by a Master Carpenter with over 25 years of experience teaching children.Projects increase in dif- ficulty as experience grows, beginning with toy boats and working up to full-sized furniture and professional skateboards. **All first time carpentry students MUST attend the 1st day of class to participate in the course.** **Tuition includes a $25 Materials Fee** 510-839-5777

Scibot (Humanoid Robotics) Ages 12-15 - Art Explorers Studio
Price includes $100 lab fee. Campers will work with the biomorphic robot Robosapien. Robosapien™ is a sophisticated fusion of technology and personality. Loaded with attitude and intelligence, Robosapien is the first robot based on the science of applied biomorphic robotics. With a full range of dynamic motion, interactive sensors and a unique personality, Robosapien is more than a mechanical companion — hes a multi-functional, thinking, feeling robot with attitude! Campers will learn programming and hacking basics and even turn their Robosapien into a Ninja Bot! Each camper will take home his or her own exciting Robosapien Humanoid Robot. Campers will also build from scratch our Vibrobot soldering project and construct a bot using a toothbrush. We highly recommend taking Camp Robot Mechanic prior to this camp. Come mold, sculpt, pinch, twist, coil, pound and paint with us for an entire week as we create with clay! Working with clay is a multi-sensory, whole body experience and a wonderful medium to unleash childrens boundless creativity. Aggie Golf Camp Session 1 - Aggie Golf Learning Center
Designed to improve and educate junior golfers. The Aggie Golf Camp is the premier junior golf instructional camp in the nation, for beginners and advanced campers. All instruction takes place at the Jack Nicklaus/Jack Nicklaus II designed Traditions Golf Club and the 42,000 sq. foot Wahlberg Aggie Golf learning Center. We have a recently completed one of the countries most complete game development outdoor practice facilities. This 10-acre facility includes 7 Champions Bermuda greens, 15 Bunker complexes, 3 water features, dedicated wedge area, and several well-placed teeing areas for a variety of shots. Campers will have daily group instruction covering all aspects of the game. They will also play 9 holes every day with instruction and supervision at Traditions Golf Club. The final day of camp will be a true test of the abilities learned during the week. Students will participate in a competition on the Traditions Club golf course with trophies awarded to the top finishers. Green Thumbs Worlds End Reservation (AM session) - Worlds End Reservation
Some say it isnt easy being green but it is here! Especially if being green means spending time outside and learning to love the world around you. This is our goal with this introductory program. This three day session will take place at Worlds End Reservation which is home to some of the best views on the South Shore. Our activities will be similar to activities offered in the full week session but tailored to our younger audience. Children can expect to put on their backpack and head out in search for adventures at the salt marsh, shore line or forest. Children must be four by August 31st to be eligible for this program. We have also had many five year old campers in this program that are looking for an introduction or a shorter week. 781.740.7233
