Advocacy Training for Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign - Philadelp
The Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign and The Bridgeway School would like to formally announce that legislation is officially being sponsored in both the House of Representative (Rep. John Taylor –[R] Philadelphia) and the Senate (Sen. Pat Browne -[R] Pennsylvania) to promote recovery high schools in Pennsylvania. When enacted, this bill will create an alternate class of school designated Recovery High School. These schools will be suited to address the educational and recovery support needs of high school age/eligible youth dealing with substance use disorders in Pennsylvania. These schools will ensure that students receive the tools necessary to retain long term recovery, achieve academic greatness, and promote family inclusion, support, and overall wellness through education and recovery. We need your help to raise awareness for, and champion this cause on behalf of all Pennsylvania Youth. Please also join us for an Advocacy Training event on February 25th and 7pm at The Bridgeway School. Through this training we will equip all supporters and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to advocate in support of this vital legislation. MDA Fundraiser to send kids to camp - Killeen, TX
I’ve turned myself in, so I’ll be doing a little time behind bars and I need your help to break free! That’s right – I’m headed to the slammer and the money I raise towards my bail will help kids and adults break free from the harmful effects of muscle debilitating diseases. Did you know that muscular dystrophy, ALS and related disease take away everyday freedoms like walking, running, hugging and even breathing? That’s why I’m dedicating my time behind bars to help MDA fund ground-breaking research across diseases, provide critical care from the first day of diagnosis and empower families with services and support in hometowns across America. Walworth Family Reunion Notice! Date: August 12, 13, 14, 2016 Arrive: 6:00 p.m. on 12th Depart: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th Camp Fees: My contract says $550.00 per day for 50 people. $10.00 per person per day over 50 people. Children 7 and under are free. This may change a bit but not much if it does. Food: We have traditionally hosted and pd. for the Friday night meal as we aren’t traveling. Saturday 3 meals, and Sunday 2 meals will be provided for the actual cost of the food, and divided by the total number of people coming. Children 7 and under are free. All of you who have come to the Lion’s camp in the past are familiar with the Nazi who was running it. I am pleased to announce that she is no longer there. A wonderful lady by the name of Jessica Thomas is running it now. Her and I discovered today that the Nazi manager wrote us into a different date than I was told at our last reunion there. I think I am just happy to have a reservation, as they are already booked out a long way. So some of you will think it’s a July date, but...

Positional Camp II - Hearnes Center
Features concentrated instruction for the athlete (grade 6-12) who wishes to focus on a designed poition (setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, or libero/defensive specialist). Campers will spend the majority of their time drilling on those skills unique to their chosen position. Team play is also provided to incorporate individual skill development into team offensive and defensive systems. Camp is open to all female participants only limited by age. 573-882-0726

What is in an eye? Students will explore the visual systems of mammals through the dissection of a cow eye! Identifying various cow-eye structures, they will discover how the cow eye compares to a human eye! By testing their sense of sight, participants will begin to appreciate the little things – in our eye (right down to the little light-detecting cells) – which help us to see the world. *Note there is no meal with this event* (630)9075987

Whose magic is more powerful? The dainty sprite-ness of a fairy? Or the deep mystical aura of a wizard? TCT illuminates the world of magic in our Fairies and Wizards camp. With music, activities and games inspired by the magic of musical theatre, TCT will create a world of sorcery that would make Harry Potter jealous! Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class each day. Please provide your child with lunch for each day. You may sign up your child for all 3 weeks.
