More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid.
