I LOVE GREYSTONE!
This summer with be 6th year going to Camp Greystone! it is honestly the best experience i have ever had in my life! i have met friends from all over the country, including my best friend that i met at camp greystone she lives about 3 states over but we continue to come back to camp together and try to meet up all much as we can!I would definitely recommend this camp! it is definitely worth the money! i feel like a different person and... Teens Exploring Identity with Phil Levine (Ages 12-17) - Young People
This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. Students explore topics like family, friends, personal exploration, ethnic and racial origins and many others. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment. Woodwind Chamber Music Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Calling all flutes, oboes, clarinets and bassoons! Chamber Music is a fun and effective way to improve your playing skills. In rehearsals and master classes well cover a variety of topics like rhythm, phrasing, listening, intonation, projection and blend. In addition, students will receive instrument specific instruction from MacPhail faculty and local teaching artists. Jr Robotics - 1/2 Day - Bricks
Our 1/2 day Jr Robotics class is the best of the Explorer camp but with shorter days for those that dont want a full day camp. If your young children dream of creating and inventing with LEGOs and technology then this is the camp for them! Just like our popular after school courses, campers will use the LEGO® WeDo® system to learn how simple machines work with programmable motors and sensors. THE CHALLENGES ARE ALL NEW AND JUST FOR SUMMER CAMPERS! Learn exciting and new ways to use pulleys, levers and gears to build and program ALL NEW machines! Join Durango jewelry artist Tracey Belt in a magical class where youll learn to fuse glass to metal. Using opaque and transparent glasses,we will explore various enameling techniques such as stenciling, sgraffito, and enamel pencils. Students will have an amazing week learning, creating, and consuming! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen!
