Why sit at home when you could be making friends and creating art? This camp will be filled with a variety of arts and crafts projects. Learn about primary, secondary and tertiary colors and use several different types of art mediums. The 8-12 year old camp will have a brief overview of art history as well. There will be an art show the last day of camp. We will get messy so wear an old shirt, or bring a smock to class. Campers will receive a T-shirt! This will be a 4 week event. Workouts will last for 1 hour and they will be full body workouts. Everyone will need their own yoga mat, jump rope, 2 3-8 lbs weights, water, and towel. The Chesterfield Public Education Fund Proudly Sponsors After School Activities ____________________________________________________________________________ The CPEF is once again pleased to offer the after school activities club program for the Fall 2014 Session. This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Please review the club descriptions to see what options are available for your child. Registration is only available online, please do not send anything via mail or email. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site. Enrollment will be open September 19th @ 7pm and conclude at midnight September 23th. All clubs are $35. All payments are due upon registration. You will receive confirmation of enrollment via email. All club notifications will be sent via email. If a club is cancelled for any reason (i.e. inclement weather) there will be no make-ups. Seussical Jr! - Hoover Cast - Stage Kids CA at The Historic Hoover Theater
**Participants MUST be registered in a class to be able to participate in this production. Seussical Jr! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Hortons challenge is twofold - not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg thats been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! All who register will be cast.
