Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast. KCF Teen Camp - Terra Alta, WV
Kingwood Christian Fellowship's Teen Camp 2015 is open to all high school teens (grades 9-12). Cost of camp is $35.00 if you pre-register by August 15 or $40.00 if you register after August 15. You can register up until 6:00 p.m. at the camp on August 21, the first day of camp. Siblings who register together each get $5.00 off of the cost of camp. Kicking & Long Snapping Camp - Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center
Meal A meal will be provided to the camper at the end of the camp. What to Bring Each camper receives a camp T-shirt check-in. This is a non-contact camp, so football pads are not needed. T-shirts and shorts are required for all practice sessions. Each camper will be provided a UT jersey to wear during the course of the camp. At the conclusion of the camp, the camper MUST return the jersey to the managers.

Tot Soccer N Stories Camp - Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center
Jump into the world of stories and soccer through this exciting camp for little ones! Each time they attend camp children will enjoy a mind-awakening story and learn the skills, moves, and joy of playing soccer. Children will have fun learning basic soccer skills like running, chasing and kicking. They will enhance listening and social skills as well as develop coordination and balance as they get their first taste of soccer in a fun and safe environment. 09th 2016 Camp Buckaroo FALL BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Fall Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cool or cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day. Ceramics 6 - Learn to Throw - Artists Exchange
Build your skills with a week of camp devoted to the pottery wheel. Start by throwing the basic cylinder form and turning it into a functional bowl or vase. Add some character to the plates and cups you use every day with interesting surface techniques and glaze. Ceramics camps allow children to immerse themselves in clay studio studies ranging from basic hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpting. Campers will learn a variety of skills designed to fit the camp they are in. Ceramic focus campers will learn the technical aspects of recycling, slab work, build a simple kiln from a metal trash can and firing pottery in it. All under the guidance of a professional potter and the fire department. Clay adventures offers a beginners taste of experimenting with clay. Sculpting camps have a slight focus on bringing 2-D drawings and images of characters into 3-D form. * Artists Exchange will be open Monday the 8th on Victory Day. 401-490-9475

Counselors-In-Training (CIT) Camp - Forest Service Park
This is a session that helps campers transition into being a CIT. In preparation for becoming role models for the younger generations of campers, participants in the CIT camp will undergo a training schedule that mimics the staff training period prior to summer camp.
